This demented ruler insisted on watching all executions. He was the Tsar of Russia between 1533-1584. He was known to be a ruthless tyrant from childhood. It was rumored that he would take animals like cats, dogs and drop them from the top of buildings. After becoming the Tsar, his paranoia led to the murder of thousands of people. During the Novgorod Massacre, at least 60,000 people were tortured before losing their lives. He was known for beheading, blinding, whipping and burning his victims.

Also, Vlad The Impaler wasn’t the monster he is made out to be. He was a good Christian man defending his people and Europe from the muslims. Did he impale his turkish enemies? Yes. As a terror tactic. Everything else was propaganda to strike fear into the hearts of the Ottoman Turks.
