Jean Mamakos, a 68-year-old woman from Long Island, is suing United Airlines for $5 million after she spent 3 days in jail following an arrest for attempting to change seats on her flight.
The charge for changing seats on on a plane? Get this: Trespassing
The story is baffling on several levels and garnered enough attention that it was featured on Inside Edition (watch the brief clip next).
It’s a home land security directive done by your president. It’s about knowing who is where and who should be where. Like it or not, it IS a national security issue.
Sue them for all you can get
She returned to her seat…why did they pursue it?
This is pure nonsense. Where a person sits is not important. DHS has become a NAZI SS type of bunch of jackals. This is not a security issue as much as it is a power play! Moronic!
I’ll surely never fly AA ever again!
the muslims caused this sh*t. keep muslims off planes from now on and we can go back to the good old days.
they use the airlines as a test platform to see how far they can push you….
Never fly United again…ever!
Boycott United Airlines.
Keith Cooper. Well if it is a national security issue as you say then how come myself and my traveling companions do it all of the time. I have moved from window to aisle many times.
