Welfare is one of the most heated debates among American citizens. Those who believe it’s a poor use of government spending are always at odds with those who keep getting the checks in the mail. Anybody able to approach the topic from an outside perspective can see why the entire concept of welfare might be upsetting to people who actually work for a living.
While there might some rare cases where people actually need government assistance, a majority of Americans currently on welfare are either immigrants or people who don’t want to work because they the government keeps sending them money, like the 30-year-old mother from Baltimore who has been on welfare for 12 years.

How about every body gets 5 years welfare and only 5 years to get it together?
She can afford a phone and her nails done. Four kids why didn’t they stop her at two. Find their dad and make them pay we are tired of this.we are retired and do without.

There are American citizens who qualify for Gov. Assistance, then there are those parasites who feel it is an entitlement program to live fat dumb and happy. She like many others are to blame but the Gov. System that freely hands out these checks needs a drastic overhaul with definitive oversight to ween people off the roles and lower overall costs to the American taxpayer. In a sense we did it to ourselves. Time for a sweeping change.
