Welfare is one of the most heated debates among American citizens. Those who believe it’s a poor use of government spending are always at odds with those who keep getting the checks in the mail. Anybody able to approach the topic from an outside perspective can see why the entire concept of welfare might be upsetting to people who actually work for a living.
While there might some rare cases where people actually need government assistance, a majority of Americans currently on welfare are either immigrants or people who don’t want to work because they the government keeps sending them money, like the 30-year-old mother from Baltimore who has been on welfare for 12 years.

Okay this needs to be corrected. However, our government has allowed this over the past 12 years. The children’s fathers need to be identified and made to support their children.
Tie your knees together and get your$#%&!@*to work…Ma’am.
Oh I can’t argue that. It’s just the article seems to imply welfare is a huge cause of national debt. It’s really a small part. But some people actually need the help. If given the choice between helping this woman and say a family of five where the parents are working and trying but their income is just too low or cutting back on welfare and potentially eliminating benefits for both…I’ll take the former. I don’t mind paying those taxes for families in need, even if there’s some bad apples gaming the system.
What truly needs to be done is more regulation. I had to get food stamps once and they were all over my personal and professional business. If they had treated this woman the way they did me she would get nothing. There’s just no consistency

My ex is a good example.
She has drawn at the very least, food stamps for over 30 years.
And her youngest child is almost 21.
Although she does work, but does nothing to better her life.
She actually bitched that when her youngest turned 18, they cut her food stamps down to $200 a month.
These pos punks is why we have a deficit
Living off the grid made you don’t get money or anything for me place else
Yeah animals
