Ted Cruz looked the pompous CNBC debate moderators in the eyes and told them a hard truth, that most American people don’t trust the mainstream media.
He described the kinds of questions that were gently handed to the Democrats, the “fawning” that took place versus the questions asked of Republicans and he confronted the moderators with, “How about talking about the substantive issues people care about?”
“Let me be clear, the men and women on this stage have more ideas, more experience, more common sense than every participant in the Democratic debate,” Cruz said. “That debate was between the Bolsheviks and Mensheviks.”
“And nobody watching at home believes that any of the moderators have any intention of voting in a Republican primary,” Cruz concluded.
When Cruz was done, social media became frenzied responding with glee for his smack down of CNBC. His message resonated with those who were watching.
Ted Cruz just goes right after the moderators and even in the press room the press is nodding along with how terrible this.
Ted Cruz takes page from ’12 Gingrich playbook, slams moderators, wins the room.
Great, great move by Cruz. The media is pathetic, and Cruz’s smack down on the moderators is beautiful.

Preach!
Not a democrat, is fox news not considered part of the mainstream media? I consider it part of it. Fox is clearly right and MSNBC is clearly left. I get how that one debate was quite bias, but the mainstream media as a whole? I don’t know if I’d say that. NONE of the mainstream media is unbias. Both sides have their own channel.

I say no moderators, just Joe Shmo audience questions!
