It’s becoming increasingly clear that no event is tragic enough to get some on the left to rally behind our nation’s police. Despite the fact that last week’s Black Lives Matter rally in Dallas provided the most deadly day for law enforcement since September 11th, many police are finding that they’re still not being embraced by liberals across the country.
In fact, the situation seems to be getting worse. It’s as if the murder of five police officers has emboldened the left’s assault on police — like they’ve won their first battle of many.
The most apparent sign of this is the growing number of liberal establishments that will not allow local police forces on their premises. One local shop in Washington state — which had served cops prior to the attack — has made this stance official.
See what they told one cop who tried to dine on their establishment on the next page:
Exactly Darrin. The Media would have a complete fit if they were GAYS or TRANNIES.
BOYCOTT THE PLACE PUT UP SIGNS HOW DARE THEM….
I wouldn’t support this business with one cent of my money… actions produced reactions…. you’re free to say what you want but you also get to suffer the repercussions of it or the Praises… this is just another case of one person spouting off and then not liking the repercussions from what they had to say… there’s a price for everything and it’s sad …this business is paying it right now!!!
Tony Kross no duty to protect and serve? What court case are you citing sir?
too late… you made your bed, now lay in it…hope your business goes under and fast!!!
Tony Kross I am guessing that you are referring to cases involving the obligation of police to protect citizens, which are usually in reference to lawsuits that get filed by victims to blame police for their failure to protect. What these cases interpret, and is often misinterpreted by the public, is that the police are under no constitutional or legal obligation to “guarantee” your personal safety unless a specific relationship to do so is in place. So, what this means is if you are a person who relies on 911 as your first go-to response for protection, they may not make to you in time. The law states, that the police cannot (and can’t be held to) guarantee that they will make to you in time to prevent you from being harmed. (It may take the police 3 minutes to get to your location, but that could be 2 minutes too late). Are they obligated to respond and make every effort to get to you and try to save you? Yes, otherwise that would be a dereliction of duty if they didn’t. However, in the case of lets say around-the-clock police protection for a key witness….that constitutes a relationship in which the police have guaranteed and have taken responsiblity for that inidividual’s safety and are held accountable, liable, etc.
They probably welcome criminals people need to boycott that business
Talk about double standards. What if this establishment banned gays? Well, we all know the answer to that. This is why we have two Americas. One is for law and order, peace and justice, the other side isn’t. We have two classes of people in the US now, those that are protected and those that are regulated.
have the right, as a private company, to refuse service to any customer they choose. We must respect that right! Effective immediately, in accordance with the wishes of the business, Law Enforcement will NO LONGER respond to ANY call for service to the above mention business. We are greatly disappointed that business feel this way, but we support their right to become vistims if they choose to. As it is the policy of the Fire and Rescue departments to not enter an active shooting zone without police escorts, we ask all future gunshot victims to please drag yourself the the curb, as we will be unable to enter the parking lot to assist. Additionally, p!ease bring any times that may be on fire, so the Fire Department is able to extinguish them. Sincerely, The Police.
