Walmart has been installing facial recognition cameras at eye level in the entrances of their new store fronts for some time now. These cameras not only have the ability to cross reference you with social media networks to put a name with the face, but utilzes software that has the ability to ascertain a great many things about the environment. How much exactly is unknown, but in the video on the next page you can see that it not only tracks faces, but can categorize objects and motion.

They still in business?
The funny thing is that the cameras they are featuring still have the foam packing still inside. Bosch uses this packing for shipping. Therefore the cameras shown are “blind”.
Installed at eye level ? Whose eyes ? Someone that’s 4’11” or someone that’s 5’6″ ? What about those that are over 6’5″ ? At 6’5″ it wouldn’t be that good for someone 4’11”. Besides, who really gives a rats$#%&!@* If you’re not doing anything wrong, what friggin difference does it make ?
Sounds like a job for spray paint
They are not facial recognition cameras, that is about the stupidest think I have heard all day !
Obviously this commentary was from someone who knows absolutely nothing about video surveillance systems. Get your information from people who are educated in the field. You wouldn’t take your car to a dentist to have it fixed would you?
I bet everyone complaining will not miss one trip to Walmart
I saw big foot once.
Ha ha ha hey yall get out the tin foul hats
Hs ha hey while you’re in Walmart buy some tin foil to make yourself a hat
