If things go according to plan in Virginia, we’re going to see how much anti-gun politicians really hate guns once they’re no longer protected by them.
Jumping on the anti-Second Amendment bandwagon, Democratic Attorney General Mark Herring has moved forward with a plan for Virginia to cease recognizing concealed carry permits granted by the 25 different states that issue such permits. But conservatives in the state legislature have a trick up their sleeves.
According to Virginia Senator Bill Carrico, Republicans in the State Senate will be able to strip Governor Terry McAuliffe of the armed security team that protects him via a planned budget amendment that he will introduce in January.
“If he’s so afraid of guns, then I’m not going to surround him with armed state policemen,” Carrico stated. One can only hope thisĀ makes McAuliffe reconsider his Attorney General’s decision.

You can’t have it both ways.
The Governor of Virginia, sad to say is one of those Democrats.
Protecting the governor of Virginia has nothing to do with regulating the sale of guns. It sounds spiteful but I am no mind reader.
I think obamanztio should give up his guards also!! He want to take our guns then give up your guard. You don’t need them if we don’t need our guns!!
The criminals will buy there guns from Mexico, like the drugs they bring into the US, If Obama is dead set on some kind of gun control in the US start by closing the border ..
OBAMA SHOULD BE NEXT !!!!!! take away his detail of secret service agents !!!!!
Barbara Stifter and Yvonne Solis. A study by Anderson around 2013 – Found through part of a meta analysis on violence and its link to murder and aggressive behaviour
1) found no difference between between regions in the U.S with variable rates of gun ownership.
2) found significant differences when comparing the U.S to other countries England, Japan and Australia
Conclusion – high ownership of guns results in increased murder rates. Very High to high rates of gun ownership does not impact on relative levels of murder rates.
Many other studies in his bibliography also confirm this. As do further studies.
The fact is, as long as America maintains such high rates or generally uncontrolled gun ownership murder and violence rates especially in areas of high population density are going to remain high.
Whilst other factors such as poverty and behavioural factors feed into violence in general it just remains a plain fact that the U.S is going to have to put up with high levels of gun related merger and associated violence until something is done. If you are personally happy with the situation then that is of course fine. But don’t try to distort the facts or bring in the constitution as a way to justify it.
That’s Right ..
I hope he gets a taste of hometown justice, like Hillary’s boyfriend did.
If he is such a good leader, he needs to prove to us this works.
