Tasered and pepper sprayed in his bedroom by Arizona police, Kyle Cardenas, a US Army combat veteran with the 82nd Airborne Division, who served two tours of duty in Iraq and was honorably discharged in 2006, suffers from “intense signs of PTSD”. He has filed a notice of claim against the Gilbert Police department for using excessive force.
The VA crisis hotline was called by Kyle’s family on his behalf, seeking a crisis team to come to their home. They specifically asked that the police not be called, unfortunately the VA ignored the request.
Police arrived at the house and Kyle tried to have his dog attack them, while also slamming the door in their face. The police told him that he was being detained.
Things went from bad to hell very quickly. View the video and the list of abuses that Kyle endured at the hands of the police on the next page.
nobody deserves to be beaten, no matter what they are about ……mental illness, thug…i guess we do expect cops to take a lot of junk’…….prayers for this man and his families…
Not Suprised. .Exactly why law enforcement has lost its Respect by law abiding Citizens..incompetent idiots hiding behind a badge need to get out of law enforcement! !!
Hint:
NO ONE for ANY REASON deserves getting beat to death by police and only the most idiotic, or psychopathic, fools would try to justify this!
This IS NOT the first time this has happened in the US!
It is the US govt and military FORCING soldiers onto drugs that is the problem!
Our founders were libertatians! You “conservatives” need to ditch your fascism and unlearn the propaganda you think is truth.

Actually he was armed with his dog and who knows what else as the story is hugely incomplete. People can pick up chairs, lamps, and all kind of household items to use as a weapon.
And how many officers does it take to arrest one person their was no need for them to do what they did. To beat, taser, pepper spray a man so badly that he almost died they should be charged with attempted murder.
Jerry Deaton , can you please tell me the Police side of this incident ? Can you tell me exactly what Kyle did that caused this ? That’s right, you can’t because ” Truthandaction”. Conveniently left that completely out. If you were on a real jury, wouldn’t you want to hear the Police Dept description of what happened before you pass judgment ? If your son was one of those officers , would you be ok if the jury only heard from the prosecuting attorney and there was no defense allowed ? This article is so ONE sided, it makes the Leaning Tower of Pisa look 100% vertical.
First off we do not have whole story. Secondly if there were no weapons then we need to start questioning the ability of our police to defend and protect.
The cops were called into this situation. The family that wanted relief from their family related vet, now want money. SMH
