Tasered and pepper sprayed in his bedroom by Arizona police, Kyle Cardenas, a US Army combat veteran with the 82nd Airborne Division, who served two tours of duty in Iraq and was honorably discharged in 2006, suffers from “intense signs of PTSD”. He has filed a notice of claim against the Gilbert Police department for using excessive force.
The VA crisis hotline was called by Kyle’s family on his behalf, seeking a crisis team to come to their home. They specifically asked that the police not be called, unfortunately the VA ignored the request.
Police arrived at the house and Kyle tried to have his dog attack them, while also slamming the door in their face. The police told him that he was being detained.
Things went from bad to hell very quickly. View the video and the list of abuses that Kyle endured at the hands of the police on the next page.
To all who did this MAY YOU ROT IN HE’LL
I don’t know the whole story here. Maybe the force used was excessive. I’m just curious how many mentally ill people you’ve brought in for treatment?
How many officers does it take to arrest one person? Obviously, you don’t know….
They tried. Read the story. They went there to help him and were attacked. They used non lethal weapons ( pepper spray, taser and baton to subdue him. The hospital gave him anti psychotic meds that almost killed him.
Take them D Tasers away from ALL Cops! Ban em!! And the ones that did THIS, Prosecute, DEATH Penalty for Attempted Murder! REGARDLESS this is OVERDONE PERIOD! Prayers!!!!!
Yep…that’s funny, Doug. You obviously don’t know what cops earn.
AMEN! Thank you for speaking up!

I appreciate your response. Not all of the ones I get are nice, even when I am. 🙂
The problem is, back to your comment a sec, our police are now being trained by the IDF, Israel’s military, as well as our govt agencies such as DHS, etc to view us as “the enemy.”
Ever seen the list of 72 things that get Americans labeled as “potential terrorists”? (Being an Iraqi or Afghani vet is one, btw!) They’re all taken from the govt’s own documents
Most of the things listed are actually activities such as thinking the Constitution is the law of the land, belief in freedom, etc, nothing “radical” or “extremist” about any of them really.
What conservatives don’t know and refuse to believe is police brutality has been going on a long time but now is surfacing due to cell phones, videos, etc and, even when committing blatant, “no one deserved that” crimes against people such as “Police beat homeless man to death,” the police walk after getting a tax payer paid vacation called “administrative leave” and conservatives will defend the police while criticizing the victim.
WTH?
Since 9/11, police have literally beat to death or gunned down over 5,000 Americans. Terrorists have allegedly killed 26. Who are Americans taught to respect? The people who have killed 5,000 Americans thus, it is rare for police to ever be convicted of crime.
Police get what amounts to special treatment whereas “we the people” have had our inalienable Rights usurped.
Example: fairly locally, an officer was on his way to work at @ 100 MPH when he struck and killed a man.
If it were just “one of us serfs” without badges, we’d be serving long prison sentences.
The officer walked!
Is that justice?
How about the officer convicted of raping children while on duty and sentenced to a “whopping” 6 month sentence and a single mom who treated her cancer with cannabis faces 30 yrs.
Is that justice? I don’t think so.
Just FYI, I’m between libertarian and anarchist politically speaking which means I believe as our founders but, sometimes, “on steroids” so to speak so, no, I’m not a “liberal.”
🙂

No, I haven’t.
The difference between you and I is I know and understand the Constitution, freedom and liberty and the true extent of our inalienable Rights.
From that standpoint, a crime is only a crime if there is a victim meaning if no one is hurt, killed, property damaged/ destroyed, etc, there should be no laws against whatever activity.
That is the freedom upon which our nation was founded and why our founders didn’t outlaw drugs, put license plates on horses, require rider’s permits/ licenses for horses, no mandatory insurance laws on horses, no permits, licenses required to earn a living/ make income, no income tax, and this can go on for nearly 60+ million other laws, regs and statutes. I doubt you’d want to read them all. 🙂
See the problem now?
If not, I’ll give you some history and show you who the so called “justice” system really serves and it isn’t “we the people.”
Michael Matteson
THIS is freedom!
