Veteran Jonathan Montano was brutally beaten to death by VA police in Loma Linda, CA for trying to leave the hospital after waiting 4 hours with a needle in his arm.
His widow recently filed suit. The couple had been married for 44 years.
“The summoned VA Police Department police officers then stopped Jonathan Montano from leaving the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, by tackling him to the floor, slamming his head on the floor, and kneeing and stomping on his neck, and otherwise brutalizing and restraining him,” the lawsuit said.

Penalty for police ?
Did I hear, ” VA POLICE “? It was the VA POLICE ( in Erie, PA) that charged me with: POSSESSION OF FIREARMS, POSSESSION OF KNIVES (EXCEEDING THREE INCHES IN LENGTH AND POSSESSION /INTRODUCTION OF AMMUNITION! Funny thing, I had all of these items mentioned securely placed inside my parked vehicle!!!!!! Yet, they claimed that the parking lot is part of VA property. Yet, they don’t provide facilities to check in your legal to carry weapons!!!!????
Remove the police that did this and hang them in the parking lot of that VA for the will full murder of a Veteran
I’m but one man, “we’ need to have the VA change this policy allowing legal to carry veterans to secure their weapons inside their car, while visiting the VA and not to carry them into the hospital! Or provide a facility to store them.
That police officer needs to go to prison. Our government needs to help our veterans. They are treated like c**p. There is no excuse for what is happening to our vets.
This is a time to fire all those Bozo’s who call themselves Cops? This should never happen in a VA hospital let alone any Hospital in our Country?

“When my husband had cancer from agent orange I did not consider taking him to the VA hospital in Fayetteville, NC. it already had a bad reputation for its treatment of veterans. I had insurance thru my employment and he had great doctors and great care for the final 18 months of his life.”
