Veteran Jonathan Montano was brutally beaten to death by VA police in Loma Linda, CA for trying to leave the hospital after waiting 4 hours with a needle in his arm.
His widow recently filed suit. The couple had been married for 44 years.
“The summoned VA Police Department police officers then stopped Jonathan Montano from leaving the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, by tackling him to the floor, slamming his head on the floor, and kneeing and stomping on his neck, and otherwise brutalizing and restraining him,” the lawsuit said.

Ahhh…and there it is. I knew I wouldn’t have to scroll far to find someone blaming the current president for this. Are you really that naïve to think that this wasn’t happening under the bush administration as well? Grow up. Yes, the government is taking your rights away. Yes, the police are brutalizing citizens. But this all started long ago…..
prevalent mind set at the va is do nothing at all. of my last 4 va visits I only saw my “doctor” twice. she didnt come in twice. shes never given me a physical. doesnt believe a word we tell her.takes her 5 minutes to read the computer stats and we are done. I ride the van for a hour then spend the whole day there even when shes a no show. the doctors covering for her are swamped so good luck seeing anyone. then at our next appointment,6 months later. guess what ?
HOPE SHE GETS EVERY THING THEY HAVE.
This makes me sick. Our veterans fought for our freedoms only to come back to a police state
This is unbelievable and not right. Ross Lapointe
We should stone thm
This would be less likely to happen if those VA cops were all veterans themselves!
This sounds a little off the beat.
