According to an anonymous VA whistleblower, corruption is so ‘overwhelming’ throughout the VA and those in charge are so corrupt and psychotic that their attitude is summed up in one statement he heard from one VA supervisor:
“Older veterans should be taken outside and shot in the head because they’re worthless.”
He describes the Dept. of Veterans Affairs as a place where supervisors across the board are not giving care to vets in order to ultimately line their wallets and everyone under them scared to do anything about it. Sounds like the rest of our government doesn’t it?

Just another branch of the crooks that run our country,,,,that means all branches A do nothing president and Holder,,,always be the same
Sad.
America, fight for our veterans.
Also, ALL Veterans are forced to see residence, Fellows without their concent to have their health care provided by someone who is still in training. The Attending physicians need to introduce themselves, and ask veterans if it is acceptable for them to be scene by a Resident, but those questions are never asked. The Money Relationships Acedemic Universitiies and Federal Veterans Hospitals are Unethical in practice and increase frustration of patients not knowing what their final medical plans are. Lab resluts are never sent to veterans homes, and no therapy or appointments are made to those trying to work a normal m-f job 8-5pm because the VA shuts down everyday at 3pm and people start leaving a 2:30pm.
I was under them for 20 years, I had battles with themn on many occassions the worst fighting for over a year to get my cancer treated, finally ait was and it had spead from the kidney down. Fortunately for me they did remove the kidney and other parts but it now appeasr under control. I am now over 65 so my care is being taken care of through the civilian system.
I was forced from my doctor there to a PA, fortunately I turned 65 and left 95% to be taken care of outside the VA.
old news under 5 presidents
My father-in-law was a veteran, and we took him for his appointments toward the end of his life. The people in the VA clinic were the rudest I’d ever seen!!! They treated him like he didn’t matter at all, and only one woman smiled at us. Most of the people there were so rude!!
thank-god Leon — i find it shocking that people really are apethetic at the VA and i am a Nurse with over 20 year sexperience
My father was a highly decorated veteran of WWII, and he thought he would give the VA medical system a try. Sat for six hours waiting to get in, then was told to come back, and then sat another six hours, with an “appointment,” before he finally saw a doctor. The doctor did nothing, and asked him to come back. Dad walked out and never looked back! A complete embarrassment!
