According to an anonymous VA whistleblower, corruption is so ‘overwhelming’ throughout the VA and those in charge are so corrupt and psychotic that their attitude is summed up in one statement he heard from one VA supervisor:
“Older veterans should be taken outside and shot in the head because they’re worthless.”
He describes the Dept. of Veterans Affairs as a place where supervisors across the board are not giving care to vets in order to ultimately line their wallets and everyone under them scared to do anything about it. Sounds like the rest of our government doesn’t it?
CONTINUE ON PAGE 2:
all of the govt is full of crooked bureaucrats If we would privatize the VA or allow vets to go to regular hospitals it would be cheaper and they would be better off.
On purpose like everything this administration does.
SAD
I had someone say something similar to me at the VA once about Vietnam vets.
I CANNOT WAIT FOR GOD’S WRATH TO COME TO THESE EVIL PEOPLE!!!!
Thank you Lord, they are finally investigating the VA for this outlandish and insane behavior. My Dad passed away in 2006 from COPD. 2 years prior to his death, the VA could not get him in to see a doctor for 5 months. It started as a cold, eventually turning into fluid in his lungs, couldn’t breathe, you name it. I had to call the cops in Phx and have them go to my Dad’s house and see if he was okay. He couldn’t breathe. I kept telling him to go to VA emergency room before might die. He wouldn’t. He did tell me 3x that “If I die, it’s the VA’s fault. Sue them for negligence”. He finally got into see a doctor and was immediately put in the hospital and placed on oxygen for 24 hours a day, daily breathing treatments, asthma medication, puffer, presc medicine, lasix for fluid retention, etc. 2 years later, after he had been in and out of the hospital for congestive heart failure.
I finally talked to the doctors myself, stating I felt he had COPD. The Pulmonary doctor eventually agreed with me. It caused changes in his daily medication – no more 24 hour oxygen, inducing his own daily (6x) breathing treatments, and puffers. He spent the last part of his life on 2 breathing treaents per day, no oxygen, and an occasional puffer. He passed away in his sleep. Do I think the PHX VA could have lengthened his life – absolutely. I miss my Dad so much, but the VA sucked at even helping him at the right time. He suffered from their negligence.
An easy fix , in my mind , would be to hire none but Veterans to work and or run the VA , let US take care of our own . I walked out of Hampton Rds. VA Hospital because of the remarks and attitude of a 26 year old girl . I’d like to transfer back to Martinsburg , W.Va. there I was treated with respect .Of course, living in NC makes it a little hard.
THEN TAKE THOSE VA EMPLOYEES OUTSIDE & SHOOT THEM IN THE HEAD SINCE THEY LIKE IT SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to say the VA Med Center in Kansas City has always treated me with respect, except for the dental department, they do not want to work to hard!!
