On Dec. 31, 2014 Utah began the process to retake 31.2 million acres of its own land previously under the control of the federal government. Utah consists of 54.3 million acres, so Washington was controlling more than 65% the state.
The “Transfer of Public Lands Act”, signed by Utah Gov. Gary Herbert in 2012, is an unprecedented move that directly challenges the authority of the federal government.
Now, since the reclaim has taken place, Utah is gearing up to fight the feds.

Beautiful landscape. Must be a geological paradise.
The US Government owns nothing. The people of the State and State does because of the people. We need our Government! But it seems government no longer needs us.
Even if my state does not learn anything, I would hope that they at least stand with Utah. The states need to be taking back from the over-reaching government.
The people are the government!
There’s more important things happening right now than land.
What we really need to be focusing on what’s coming to America. And there coming to kill us and America. They have declared war on America. There going to cut our heads off and rape our women and children. And there coming in by the droves we see it every day.. We can take our land from the government at another time which a good thing no doubt …We have a problem that we better be addressing now and its our southern borders. And Islamic coming to America ..If these problems are not addressed we need not worry about land..
