On Dec. 31, 2014 Utah began the process to retake 31.2 million acres of its own land previously under the control of the federal government. Utah consists of 54.3 million acres, so Washington was controlling more than 65% the state.
The “Transfer of Public Lands Act”, signed by Utah Gov. Gary Herbert in 2012, is an unprecedented move that directly challenges the authority of the federal government.
Now, since the reclaim has taken place, Utah is gearing up to fight the feds.
MOVE ON TO PAGE 2:
Dan you are right and that is a very beautiful place to visit
The government is not constitutionally allowed to own land…only military bases….period….we have a serious problem with the citizens not knowing the constitution…thats why the big brother gov has been allowed to run amuck and destroy our rights…….
on of my favorites. been there three times in conjunction with other desert drives. the area is a ‘sacred’ place.
Good
Martin… I’m a staunch conservative & republican from Georgia. I was traveling thru your good state on my way home to Georgia. Got violently ill on 10/20/15. Required a 2 week hospital stay with an emergency surgery. I’ll be here until at least 11/21/15. I must say I am very pleased and impressed with the folks I’ve been involved with here in Provo. Kudos to all you Utah folks.
Wake up America and move forward
