On Dec. 31, 2014 Utah began the process to retake 31.2 million acres of its own land previously under the control of the federal government. Utah consists of 54.3 million acres, so Washington was controlling more than 65% the state.
The “Transfer of Public Lands Act”, signed by Utah Gov. Gary Herbert in 2012, is an unprecedented move that directly challenges the authority of the federal government.
Now, since the reclaim has taken place, Utah is gearing up to fight the feds.

Gotta love…and pity…the simple minded people. How is it better that the state government now controls public land compared to the federal government?
Only an uneducated person would be cheering for one government en$#%&!@*y taking control over another.
This is not the Federal government’s land, it is our land, it belongs to all the people of the United States, and we should fight to keep it that way.
I can see now why some of our forefathers supported states rights, and if things don’t change and change soon some states may be calling for secession.
Sweet
Bout dang time… that is awesome!!
It will happen at some time, but they did it and got the firing squade back too.. Got to give that a thought… God bless all of you..
Hope to see you in May………………. 🙂
Yes and it is listed as hostile state in the upcoming jade helm 15 special ops exercise. What a coincidence?????
I love Utah more and more every day, we are in the slow process of relocating out there. Can’t wait to get the hell out of Michigan!!!!
The only comment I would make is the land show is already Navajo owned. Utah cannot take the Indian lands
