On Dec. 31, 2014 Utah began the process to retake 31.2 million acres of its own land previously under the control of the federal government. Utah consists of 54.3 million acres, so Washington was controlling more than 65% the state.
The “Transfer of Public Lands Act”, signed by Utah Gov. Gary Herbert in 2012, is an unprecedented move that directly challenges the authority of the federal government.
Now, since the reclaim has taken place, Utah is gearing up to fight the feds.
MOVE ON TO PAGE 2:
This is in Arizona. Get the picture right.
Psychos
Sounds like big business wants to rape the land to me, disguised as something for the heartstrings
Think of all Americans, Jess? Since most of Americans need gasoline, I’d say this is a very pro-American move. There will always be pristine areas left. Nature will see to it. Some of the nicest areas in my region were strip mines 20 years ago, you’d never know it there. Time to come back to reality, hippie.
Right Arizona can take back Grand Canyon and mine it
You are right, Erik. It’s a disaster. As a nation, we owe more money then even exists in the world. Compromise between Conservatives and Liberals is now non-existent, and the percentage of population choosing to sponge off the rest of us is growing by leaps and bounds. All these problems, and most others, can easily be traced back to the federal government interfering and trying to control everything.
Good point..when you say all those people sponging I’m wondering. Are you including large multinational corporations like Nike, burger king , Verizon and G.E who either ship manufacturing jobs overseas or locate corporate headquarters elsewhere to avoid taxes while making the majority of their money off the american market?
Lol Utah has the same scenery from the bottom of Utah to the top of arizona how do you know it’s the wrong pic..you don’t….hahaha you made me laugh at your expense Lolol
So should all the states – where it makes sense!
…or the cons$#%&!@*ution…the feds illegally took over this land.
