Elections obviously have consequences, and one of those is manifested in the impact a president has on the makeup of the federal courts. When thinking about a president’s judicial nominations, attention typical is focused on the US Supreme Court since it makes the final decisions on matters of law. Yet, the district courts and appellate courts are very important as well, especially since not all cases appealed to the Supreme Court will be heard by that body, leaving the decision made by the lower court to stand as ruled.
Cases involving the Second Amendment are highly controversial, due largely to the entrenched interests on both side of the debate over an American’s right to keep and bear arms. Such a case has just been decided at the appellate court level, and the implications are serious. More on page two.
I’d rather be dangerous than a victim.
That’s not what the Supreme Court meant in their ruling, and they know it. This must be challenged.
What dose driving a car make you….
Where’s the data?
Thomas Jefferson warned us in writing of the dangers of allowing judges to legislate from the bench. Our government allowed it, encouraged it, as long as they could count on rulings favoring whatever Unconstitutional tyranny they wanted at any given time. It worked. This was mostly in the later 19th century and into the 20th. People rarely questioned government then; trusting it was doing the right thing. Big mistake!
How does practicing one inalienable right make one ineligible to practice one or more others? It doesn’t, of course, but between the fascist totalitarian globalists who, in what must be one of the most ironic political tragedies in many years, call themselves liberals, and the conservatives who believe we must surrender certain rights because they don’t want us to have them, we the people are between the proverbial rock and a hard place. This will not end well.
F**e….
If you carry legally you could be in trouble if this is NOT CHALLENGED!!!
