Elections obviously have consequences, and one of those is manifested in the impact a president has on the makeup of the federal courts. When thinking about a president’s judicial nominations, attention typical is focused on the US Supreme Court since it makes the final decisions on matters of law. Yet, the district courts and appellate courts are very important as well, especially since not all cases appealed to the Supreme Court will be heard by that body, leaving the decision made by the lower court to stand as ruled.
Cases involving the Second Amendment are highly controversial, due largely to the entrenched interests on both side of the debate over an American’s right to keep and bear arms. Such a case has just been decided at the appellate court level, and the implications are serious. More on page two.
Same with their security detail
That rite i dont have a security detail i have to take care of it myself
Ironic how the ones that have been “checked out” by the government and are trained are the dangerous ones. Seems the courts need a clean up, incompetence runs high on our courts. Sad isn’t it.
IDIOTS in charge because of IDIOTS
Against anyone that intends to do me great bodily harm. Your damned right.
If that is the case, then if a law abiding citizen is harmed in any manner by a criminal then not only should the one that perpetrated the deed be held accountable but these judges also. No more armed security guards for any of them. No matter what their status or profession
They are right! It makes those opposing the issue think twice. If you call that a danger!!!!! Other than that it is an equalizer. Our right to defend ourselves from those that illegally have guns.
I hope so. Think twice die once.
Don’t think do
it’s all liberal rhetoric, they want to use the military and the police as a totalitarian society like Venezuela is doing now. Guns keep more people safe then they harm. Only about 30,000 people a year die from guns in the USA, 20k of that is suicide, the rest are usually people in gangs or cops. More people died in a year from a heart attack, 180,000. More people die from cancer in a year 320,000. More people die in auto accidents from not using turn signals or using their cell phone 380,000 and more people die from Planned Parenthood with over 600,000 babies aborted, and they still call it Planned Parenthood
