Elections obviously have consequences, and one of those is manifested in the impact a president has on the makeup of the federal courts. When thinking about a president’s judicial nominations, attention typical is focused on the US Supreme Court since it makes the final decisions on matters of law. Yet, the district courts and appellate courts are very important as well, especially since not all cases appealed to the Supreme Court will be heard by that body, leaving the decision made by the lower court to stand as ruled.
Cases involving the Second Amendment are highly controversial, due largely to the entrenched interests on both side of the debate over an American’s right to keep and bear arms. Such a case has just been decided at the appellate court level, and the implications are serious. More on page two.
Yes we are dangerous to crooks and thugs. Other than that crime will drop from fear of being shot. Win-win.
Umm, yeah! Being dangerous to those who are a threat is kinda the point!!! How much schooling did this take again Judge?
And what does that make the criminals who don’t follow laws
We have the right too protect ourselves and our families. The thugs are the ones who are doing the killings. And robbing.
No appeal needed
The Courts have become so political, Socialism has become a cancer killing our Constitutional Freedoms and Rights.
No$#%&!@* Damn genius
Concealed weapons don’t bother me, when it’s openly displayed, that’s when you hope it’s not a pipe over the head and suddenly a dipstick is armed
These judges have issues more important than this. Like getting rid of the Muslims in this country.
Yep your damn right they make us dangerous! But only to the criminals who wish to hurt unarmed people!!!!!
