The Energizer Bunny has nothing on the University of California, Irvine’s nanobattery, an accidental discovery with enormous potential. This wonder battery can join the glorious ranks of accidental discoveries like champagne, viagra and popcycles, each having a positive place in the world today.
Researchers at UCI inadvertently created a long lasting battery with long lasting potential. This nonobattery can at a conservative number keep a laptop going for 400 hundred years. The average laptop battery is good for roughly 1000 charges, but will diminish over two years time. The UCI nanobattery “endured 200,000 charge cycles” for the length of three months and was “effectively still brand new” when they were done experimenting.
Although this battery is years away from having commercial use, the future looks bright, for centuries, with this nanobattery energizing it. The future of USB ports and “charging bricks” looks a bleak as the science progresses on this new battery.

I wonder if big battery companies will buy the patent and put them out of business. Kind of like the no run panty hose and engines that run on water
We’ll never see one at Walmart!
HE’LL SELL IT TO THE BATT COMPANIES AND THEY WILL BURY
Government will kill that idea rather quickly .
Your a target for battery companies
Designers had better go into hiding
Not exactly
Just like the inventor of the “water as auto fuel” system
Yeah, right
