Uniformed Cop Escorted Out of Class by Panicked Professor

It seems that one should feel safer knowing there is a police officer in the classroom, able to jump in at a moments notice should an emergency incident present itself, but this professor had bought into the fear tactics of the left and panicked.

A panicking and clearly gun phobic professor at Darton State College, had a student, who happened to be a police officer, escorted out of class.  Somehow, in the professor’s mind, this student, who was in full uniform, had the irrational thought that he was a danger to the class and this made the instructor “uncomfortable”.

“Darton State College is appreciative for the service of our law enforcement, and welcome them as students on our campus. We have apologized to the officer for our misunderstanding when he attended class on our campus, and we regret this happened. We have met with the faculty and staff involved to reiterate the Georgia Law and Darton Policy.” – Dr. Thomas Ormond, Interim Provost/VP for Academic & Student Affairs, Darton State College

Certainly this student should have been apologized to and the faculty informed about proper behavior.
