Christiana Figueres, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, said in an interview with Climate One founder Greg Dalton that the Earth is already overburdened with people and that we should look at depopulating the planet.
“There is pressure in the system to go toward that; we can definitely change those, right? We can definitely change those numbers,” Figueres stated.
“Really, we should make every effort to change those numbers because we are already, today, already exceeding the planet’s planetary carrying capacity,” she said.

Let’s start with her.
Let see here, the US population tripled in the last century the Chinese population quadrupled during that time. If that trend continues 2 countries will have a population almost as high as the current world population…
So you’d give everyone 35sq feet?
You really don’t understand the issue do you?
Who would we waste all that money on then?
Maybe she could show us how it would work if she were gone.
How about we depopulate the UN??
India has also approximately quadruple its population over the last century, so if these trends continue by 2117, 3 countries will have a population of 11.76 billion
That’s excluding every nation but those three.
Also by 1917 millions died in WWI we’ve managed to avoid such deadly conflicts so far this century so our populations are likely to grow at a quicker rate than they did last century.
Ok, lets start win you fool.
Shoot yourself. Lead the way. Others will follow. I promise.
