Russia and China are holding their largest-ever joint naval exercise this week. The “Joint Sea 2015 II” exercises will take place in the Sea of Japan and off the Vladivostoc coast – it will run through Aug. 28th.
The stated purpose is to cope with ‘maritime security threats’. That leads on to ask, what type of threat exists in the world that would require these two world powers working in tandem?
