According to 2 studies by 2 U.S. Army scientists, the Ebola virus is sensitive to warm weather and can go airborne when the temperature drops.
The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases concluded Ebola is indeed airborne but can’t be spread the through air in Africa because it’s too warm as temperatures there rarely drop below 65°F.

That’s hilarious. The government thinks that people are complete idiots.

yea that’s why it loves Africa where its 115 degrees in the shade
As long as the wind is blowing NE and wipes out DC. It will be a good thing.
President Ebola and the first virus. ..
wierd. it isnt cold in africa….
It has been interesting that they have said that winter would be the worst for Ebola, you would think that warm weather would be it’s ideal environment, but apparently, it really likes cold temperatures.
More like lies and fear mongering!
How does this make any sense at all!? Along the lines of rational thought: a virus outside of its host is vulnerable, and a colder ambient temperature would more than likely hinder its ability to travel intact through the air to another host. I know this is true for the common cold and the flu which are known to be airborne in a similar way (carried in the droplets of spittle and mucus expelled by a cough or sneeze). I am to understand that the ebola virus is less transmittable via the air than the common cold and the flu. In fact we tend to be sick in colder temps. because we are all indoors and within closer proximity of others. Handwashing, pocket bac., and good housekeeping should be enough to protect you.
