In a fitting topic for the income tax filing deadline, Tucker Carlson roasted a California politics professor on Tucker Carlson Tonight last evening for claiming wealthy Americans are not paying their “fair share” in income taxes.
Caroline Heldman, an assistant professor of politics at Occidental College in Los Angeles, argued for radically hiking taxes on taxpayers in the top one percent of income, those earning $470,000 and higher.
She based her argument in part on the fact that wealthy individuals paid as much as 90 percent in taxes during the presidencies of Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy.
Find out how Carlson countered her argument and revealed her for the socialist ideologue she is on the next page.

Why would anyone with common sense feel paying 90% of what you have earned to a government agency to be ok
Everyone wants to call for more taxes, penalties, etc until it affects THEM. Tax everyone the same percentage. The poor will pay less, the rich will pay more but don’t penalize them just because they’re better off than others. Ridiculous
God save us from idiots like this! Living in CA, one of the highest cost places to live in the US, and wanting others to pay for her stuff. OMG, go back to school and study some economics!
she is all mouthy liberak
Bill Oreilly used to have this idiot on a lot. This is the quality of professors at colleges and universities today.
Great points
Ken Tribble I am against the death penalty for 2 reasons. First, as you said, it’s much more expensive to put someone to death than to imprison them for life. Second, the deterrent factor doesn’t work, at least not that I can see. I don’t think, just an opinion, proof would be tough, that facing a death sentence opposed to life will stop the really bad criminals.
Watching Tucker is great.
