In a fitting topic for the income tax filing deadline, Tucker Carlson roasted a California politics professor on Tucker Carlson Tonight last evening for claiming wealthy Americans are not paying their “fair share” in income taxes.
Caroline Heldman, an assistant professor of politics at Occidental College in Los Angeles, argued for radically hiking taxes on taxpayers in the top one percent of income, those earning $470,000 and higher.
She based her argument in part on the fact that wealthy individuals paid as much as 90 percent in taxes during the presidencies of Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy.
Find out how Carlson countered her argument and revealed her for the socialist ideologue she is on the next page.
I’ve wondered how Tucker keeps getting guests to debate him and come to the conclusion that Democrats, socialists, leftists and liberals egos are so big they refuse to see what big fools and hypocrites they make of themselves.
She’s a crazy nut
Educated liberal socialist will be the death of us all. Somehow our education system can only elevate them to idiot status.
Henry Wesolowski, looks like you were promoted to professor. Shirley Hultquist passed on the honor.
Took us off the gold standard. Gold is not the only measure of wealth, but I guess to some it’s the only viable option to support our currency.
Well, some people call me a space cowboy yeah
Some people call me the gangster of love
some people call me Maurice…
Yeah, right. You have quite the imagination.
Scott Bredeson you need to research what that means.
We have nothing of value backing our money. Study up!
Professor Heldman specializes in “the presidency, media, gender, and race in the American context.” And that type of degree will make you alot of money some where? Who would take classes for such BS???
Shirley Hultquist, you to read my post again. Carefully this time. I said gold is not the only measure if wealth. If you disagree you’ll need to explain and support your position. And thank you for telling me we are no longer on the gold standard. I learned that in economics class but it’s nice to have a reminder. The only thing backing our currency is the full faith and trust of the federal government. With all the new debt that may now be questionable.
