Last night’s cruise missile strike on a Syrian air base ordered by resident Donald Trump has generated both cheers around the globe and voices of concern from many long-time supporters.
In reaction to the recent sarin gas attack on Syrian civilians, President Trump ordered the first significant military action of his presidency. It provided a sharp contrast with the weakness displayed by President Barack Obama under similar circumstances in 2013, when he drew his infamous “red line” and then did nothing.
NeverTrump critics John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Bill Kristol applauded the President’s action, which even gained support from his prime Democrat adversaries, Senator Chuck Schumer and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.
But the most surprising news is the hostile reaction from some of Trump’s most vocal supporters, both in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Find out which backers have found great fault with the military action on the next page.
Absolutely
Willie Martinez well said sir.
People were not the target. The target was the airfield to prevent more chemicals being sprayed on the innocent.
This new sherif has balls so deal its it!
Some one had to kick$#%&!@*to make sure the$#%&!@*s that dumped that gas are stopped!
Exactly! Last I checked he had his own advisors.
We’re on the outside looking in.
It’s like sitting on the sidelines of a sports event critiquing pros…Trump is on the inside folks and he knows what’s going on.
I believe they call it intel.
100% RIGHT !!!!
Mike Hall we were sending a message that from now on red lines will not be drawn and then ignored when you cross them. It sent hope the Syrian victims that NO we Americans didn’t come into your country under Hillary and Obama give these people the weapons to turn on you and then we turn our backs.. It also send to the other parts of the world who has ridiculed and tested us for years that we will be not following behind anymore, but we will stand up. We rather they have a chance to have their homeland back than to have to fund the monies to have to relocate millions and millions across the country How much do you think that will cost us or will you be taking them all into your home after they are run out of syria …
These “long time” supporters clearly had no lived ones attacked by chemical weapons units like the offending war criminal units our Commander in Chief just destroyed.
Ronnie please please tell me what is the peaceful way to handle “these kind of people” they tried love, they tried talking, they even signed agreements that they welched on and lied about. what is your solution to a country that has a current government gassing their own people not once, not twice but three times now killing thousands. Do you mean their lives don’t matter as long as trump doesn’t kill anyone. I’m trying to figure out what you mean and what would you do since we started the mess when obama and hillary went into syria.
Can’t make everyone happy!
