Trump: Hillary Created Obama Birther Attack in 2008

“What I’ve said is nothing compared to Hillary,” Trump added. “Take a look at what Hillary said in 2008.”

The real estate mogul’s remarks follow criticism that he did not stop a questioner at a rally who said Obama is a Muslim. On Monday he said that he does not think there is anything wrong with last week’s question.

“I don’t think he was a plant,” Trump noted of the man who asked about the president’s heritage. “I knew that question was going to be a controversial one.”

“I have no obligation, moral or otherwise, to defend the president,” the Real Estate mogul added, probably winning him extra points among supporters and further stunning the continually stumped media in their efforts to de-throne him as front runner.

Trump also said Clinton will likely survive the controversy over her use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of State.

“What she did was disgraceful,” Trump said. “The whole situation is a disgrace to the country.”
