We’ve come a long way from the days when presidents road around in convertibles so they could wave to crowds during parades. That period ended with the tragic assassination of President Kennedy. The attempted assassination of President Reagan once again highlighted the vulnerability a president experiences when he steps out in public. So there is a constant tension between two needs — to have the president visible to the people, while at the same time ensuring his safety.
It’s not just a problem for public officials. Wealthy business magnates such as Donald Trump employ private security forces for personal protection. But when someone becomes president, that responsibility is turned over to the Secret Service.
Donald Trump’s security situation is an unusual one, as outlined on page two.
Can’t trust the ones that Obama has influenced.
Best way to stay safe Mr. PRESIDENT you know them and can trust them. What a terrible time to become president, thank you sir for your bravery. Go Trump!!!
I agree. The American Intel community can no longer be trusted to protect President Trump. Integrity and the alligence to duty is now corrupt. The Obama administration has tainted the whole Intell community. The greatest threat isn’t the Russians and I think the Intell community is making up a threat for a diversion. I’m not sure why the Intell community is lying and telling the American people that the Russians are out to get us and that they are threatening our leaders . Something doesn’t smell right here. KEEP THE PERSONAL SECURITY TEAM !
Thats because he is smart go TRUMP
Smart man .. after JFK inside job no wonder.
He can refuse secret service protection and excuse the detail. Nothing says you have to have it.
He should, he can’t trust anybody.
Take care of him. We love him.
I’m sorry but I don’t blame him, I don’t trust the secret service, they still under obama administration and we see how the whole justice department is corrupt
I would trust what I have rather what they offer proven they can’t be trusted
