Donald Trump’s friendship has once again proved to be poisonous…at least to those who espouse a Right-wing ideology.
Roger Stone, long-time friend of the president, whose life was turned completely upside-down by a bogus witch hunt begun by the Obama administration and the Deep State because of a lost election. Stone is now the sixth in a long line of Trump associates who have been indicted and imprisoned because they had the unfortunate experience of becoming friendly with or had entered an orbit around the president.
Ironically, not a single one of the people involved in the attempted (and ongoing) coup of the presidency has been charged or brought before any judicial body to be questioned about their own illegal activities. Luckily for them, they were never friendly with the president, nor are they (or have they ever been) on the Right side of any issue.
THE SEVEN COUNTS OF GUILT
As for the seven counts against him (five counts of making false statements to the House Intelligence Committee in September 2017, one count of obstructing an official proceeding, and one count of witness tampering), Stone now faces a sentence of between 20-50 years, depending on how this is pursued by the prosecution team. In the possible event that he is given some leniency (considering that the Barr-Durham investigation appears to be tightening around the coup participants and the fact that the Horowitz IG report on FISA abuse by the FBI is “imminent”) Stone could face between 10-12 years. In essence, no matter how you slice it, he is looking at life in prison.
All this, simply due to the fact that he was friends with the wrong Democrat enemy. I wonder if Comey, Brennan, Clapper, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr, Simpson, and all the many hundreds of others involved in this coup attempt by the Deep State under Obama, Clinton and Biden, will ever have a pre-dawn raid on their homes by SWAT team members.
I think we all know the answer to that.
