Trump Attacker Confesses to Premeditation and CNN Pats Him on the Back

CNN pats Thomas Dimassimo on the back for his attack on Trump at the Dayton, Ohio rally.  The attacker is known for his anti-American ties, his Black Lives Matter ties and according to a now deleted Twitter account, a premeditated attack on Trump.

The Secret Service quickly surrounded Trump when Dimassimo breached the security.  He was arrested and charged “with disorderly conduct and inducing panic, Dayton Airport Police Chief Mike Etter told NBC News. Dayton Airport Police did not immediately respond to People’s request for a comment”.

In an interview with Dimassimo, the attacker was given the five minutes of fame that he was seeking.  Martin Savage sets the stage as if his actions were heroic.

“He’s bright.  He’s intelligent, but he’s obviously very politically active.  And what he wanted to do he said was to deny Trump this stage, but I asked him, “What were you really trying to do?”

Dimassimo responded:

Trump is a bully and he is nothing more than that.  He is somebody who is just saying alot of bold things, making bold claims, but I can see right through that and I can see he just….truly is a coward and he is opportunistic and he is willing to destroy this country for power for himself.”

Savage restated his question:

Alright, that’s your motivation, but what were you thinking at that moment? Why did you do what you did?

Dimassimo replied:

I was thinking I could get up on stage and take his podium away from him and take his mic away from him and send a message to all people out in the country who wouldn’t consider themselves racist, who wouldn’t consider themselves approving of that type of violence Donald Trump is allowing at his rallies and send them a message that we can be strong, we can find our strength, we can stand up, uh- against Donald Trump.

This is not a new tactic and Dimassimo, a protester for Black Lives Matter, may have learned from a podium grab in Seattle at a Bernie Sander’s rally.

On the one year anniversary of Michael Brown’s death in Ferguson, two women and a man from a Seattle chapter of Black Lives Matter demanded that Sanders to give them the mic before shoving him aside to address the crowd. After a bit of confusion, campaign officials permitted the activists to take over.

The trio asked the crowd for 4.5 minutes of silence to acknowledge the death of Michael Brown. Some of the crowd booed the interference, saying “Let Bernie speak.”

“Now that you’ve covered yourself in your white supremacist liberalism, I will formally welcome Bernie Sanders to Seattle,” Johnson said to the crowd, according to CNN

After 20 minutes, Sanders tried to take the mic back, but was again shoved aside, forcing him to abandon the event completely, Truth and Action reported.

It is interesting that the white #BLM protester, Dimassimo, and the three black #BLM protesters in Seattle both throw around the term white supremacist.  Both utilized disruption to gain a moment in the spotlight and their rhetoric is as inflammatory as Trump’s.  So who is to blame?

Many are charging Trump with the responsibility of violent protesters and attacks like the one in Dayton, claiming his “hateful rhetoric” is the cause for such volatile crowds.

Speaking of which, it also raises the question of who exactly was responsible for the chaos that engulfed the last rally in Chicago. Sure enough, a quick perusal of social media shows anti-Trump protesters and sympathizers from Soros front group MoveOn.org bragging about stopping the Friday rally and yes, instigating violence at the earlier one, reported Truth and Action.

Perhaps CNN for propping up and validating groups like MoveOn.org and Black Lives Matter.
