Top DHS Screening Official Can’t Provide Any Stats On Refugees To Committee

Civil Servant Has No Answers

When asked how many Syrian refugees entered the U.S. last year, Ms. Burriesci did not have that figure. She did not know how many Americans had traveled to Syria and then returned to the U.S. last year, which could represent U.S. citizens who traveled to the Middle East to become radicalized. She could not say how many Syrian visa waiver immigrants had overstayed their visas, or how many Americans are on the no fly list. This is the type of senior official that Obama has entrusted with the safety and security of the American people, and he assures us that the program is effective and sufficient to do the job.

In a rational environment, Deputy Assistant Secretary Burriesci would have been fired long ago for ineptitude and nonexistent preparation, yet she is entrusted with a critical aspect of our national immigration policy.

If this is the assurance we have for our safety, it is no wonder that citizens are arming themselves in preparation for future Muslim terrorist attacks. See the video below.
