And, IMO, we have become a Nation of timid people because female voters outnumber male voters and females tend to be ‘timid’ (by this definition) at far higher percentages than men. Women seek security and are far more apt to be willing to sacrifice freedom for it. Not to mention that all too many of our ‘independent’ women these days are on some form of gov’t assistance to which they owe their independence…
