The media has manufactured its latest controversy about the Trump campaign by blowing a heated altercation out of proportion.
News outlets have run wild today with footage of a reporter for Time magazine being knocked to the ground by a member of the Secret Service at a Trump rally. The implication is that the GOP frontrunner is running an aggressive campaign that brings out the worst in people and has potential to turn violent at any moment.
But as other videos documenting the series of events leading up to that incident attest, if anybody was violent, it was the reporter. Footage shows Morris getting unnecessarily close to the Secret Service agent, brushing up against him as if he were trying to push him out of the way. He is also clearly heard to say “f*ck you” to the agent.
But that’s not what people are seeing on the news: what they’re seeing is Morris lying on the floor as the agent stands over him, and they most certainly did not see what he did next.

Don’t feed the trolls boys.
You mean he should have been shot.
The reporter grabbed his throat after he was choke slammed by the SS agent for yelling$#%&!@*you during the trump event.
I would say the reporter was paid to stir$#%&!@*up so he could report his own false news for the Establishment people who paid him, oh and the agent showed magnificent restraint if you never had your$#%&!@*kicked by someone trained you will absolutely never forget it!
It’s not that Joseph Soto believes it’s wrong to attack secret service, it’s that he believes freedom of the press only applies to the Left. Do the same thing, lay your hands on someone at a Hillary or Bernie event, and his tune will suddenly change to one of law and order. This hypocritical mentality applies to just about every stance the Left takes. They can call Bush every filthy name, call for his assassination, walk at protest rallies with him in a noose or with a knife sticking in his head and that’s protected free speech, under a document they claim is outdated and unnecessary. But a rodeo clown with an Obama mask is something the DOJ should pursue as a hate crime, with Liberal politicians like Claire McCaskill suddenly waking up from their Rip Van Winkle slumbered to denounce it. The media similarly, never had a problem bashing Presidents they hated like Nixon, Reagan, or Bush, but criticize Obama and they worry about the rise of bigotry in this country. You’re not even allowed to question this guy. You had Harry Belafonte saying that anyone who did should be tossed in prison. This is the hypocrisy of the Left. They lay out rules for us all to follow yet they exempt themselves from them practically every chance they get. That’s why unions can back Obamacare and then look to shelter their members from it. That’s why unions in California can now try to exempt their members from the minimum wage laws they led the fight for. That’s why wealthy Hollywood celebs can whine about climate change but then fly all over the world using 100 times more carbon than the average citizen who they feel should be saddled with the cost of paying for something that frankly, is a total myth. That’s why they can demonize guns and then we find out they’re protected by people who carry guns. It’s not that they hate guns, it’s that they hate that the average citizen can own one. Only they or their security people should hold that right. Liberalism basically sucks$#%&!@*
These idiots are doing this on purpose. Trying to make it look like there’s nothing but violence at Trump rallies. I know us Trump supporters are hard working badasses!!! But we can’t stoop to their level and fall for their weak tactics!!!!
Americans are perhaps the dumbest fools to ever walk the earth. I question their sanity when their party bosses tell them their votes don’t count only what the established plutocrats want counts, yes the perfect reason to STAND against usurped powers and they just cower to the established plutocrats……Men today are cowards and not like those in Athens Tenn. back in 1946 who had the brevity to stand and use force of arms to fix the problem. I have included a commentary written by former first lady Elinor Roosevelt on the incident. SOURCE: The Daily Post-Athenian, Athens, Tenn., August 7, 1946; pages 1, 6.
Mrs. Roosevelt Grasps Local Facts Better Than Most
Editor’s Note — Our attention has been called to Mrs. Roosevelt’s column upon McMinn. She seems to have grasped the facts and significance better than any other outside writer:
McMinn A Warning — By Eleanor Roosevelt
New York, Monday — After any war, the use of force throughout the world is almost taken for granted. Men involved in the war have been trained to use force, and they have discovered that, when you want something, you can take it. The return to peacetime methods governed by law and persuasion is usually difficult.
We in the U.S.A., who have long boasted that, in our political life, freedom in the use of the secret ballot made it possible for us to register the will of the people without the use of force, have had a rude awakening as we read of conditions in McMinn County, Tennessee, which brought about the use of force in the recent primary. If a political machine does not allow the people free expression, then freedom-loving people lose their faith in the machinery under which their government functions.
In this particular case, a group of young veterans organized to oust the local machine and elect their own slate in the primary. We may deplore the use of force but we must also recognize the lesson which this incident points for us all. When the majority of the people know what they want, they will obtain it.
Any local, state or national government, or any political machine, in order to live, must give the people assurance that they can express their will freely and that their votes will be counted. The most powerful machine cannot exist without the support of the people. Political bosses and political machinery can be good, but the minute they cease to express the will of the people, their days are numbered.
This is a lesson which wise political leaders learn young, and you can be pretty sure that, when a boss stays in power, he gives the majority of the people what they think they want. If he is bad and indulges in practices which are dishonest, or if he acts for his own interests alone, the people are unwilling to condone these practices.
When the people decide that conditions in their town, county, state or country must change, they will change them. If the leadership has been wise, they will be able to do it peacefully through a secret ballot which is honestly counted, but if the leader has become inflated and too sure of his own importance, he may bring about the kind of action which was taken in Tennessee.
If we want to continue to be a mature people who, at home and abroad, settle our difficulties peacefully and not through the use of force, then we will take to heart this lesson and we will jealously guard our rights. What goes on before an election, the threats or persuasion by political leaders, may be bad but it cannot prevent the people from really registering their will if they wish to.
The decisive action which has just occurred in our midst is a warning, and one which we cannot afford to overlook.
Why is Secret Service at a trump rally
more liberal media inflamed purposeful election manipulation….
