Last in line to complete the trifecta was technology. The Internet, in particular, became the premier place where all your one-stop-shopping for bully needs could be found conveniently and quickly. Instead of whispering down the lane all these nasty things about your neighbor, now you could just go on social media and proclaim your hatred to thousands of people in the blink of an eye. Photos, videos, stories (fictional or not) could be posted with the ease of a button and the humiliation and denigration of another human being could be initiated with less effort than making a pot of coffee in the morning.

These are the three things, in my opinion, that have altered society to a point where bullying has rapidly evolved in a weaponized form of social media content, where lives can be taken away by the mere mention of a few words.
I would suggest that the way to combat bullying is not to simply increase the punishment for their crimes. That has been proven over and over to be a non-deterrent for those who practice this aberrant behavior. The way to combat bullying is to remove the influence of Progressivism, the poisonous endeavors of the Left, restore the family and the church in the school systems, and finally, through such renewed family engagement, curb the use of social media by children who have no business being inside a network dominated by adult bullies.
That is the way to get rid of bullying.

After watching the liberals etc and the way they treat Trump,now we know where some of these bullies came from!
I lived through it. But back then suicide was not acceptable. What changed PARENTS?
I am one of the etc, and I do feel sorry for old bone spurs.
I survived bullies. I fought back. That is the way we were raised. My father made sure I could defend myself.
The only way to defeat a bull is to beat the hell out of them. Learn to fight back.
