The Three Main Culprits of Bullying and Why Just Saying “No” Won’t Work

Many people in society are dealing with the heartbreaking situations of their children being threatened, beaten, and bullied every single day and they feel that they have no way to stop it.  Oftentimes, the bullies are the product of bullies themselves, meaning that the parents are demonstrating the abhorrent practices for their children to see and the offspring then naturally tend toward those behaviors because they find them acceptable from the role models’ point of view.

An opinion piece for Fox News by Paul Coughlin insists that there is a way to combat bullying and turn the tide on the rising negative statistics surrounding this exploding phenomenon.  Coughlin points to both David’s Law in Texas and the DBM Project (for Don’t Bully Me).

David’s Law specifically targets cyberbullying and goes into detail about how the parents of cyberbullies are notified by law within the first 48 hours of the incident, etc., etc.

The DBM Project is affiliated with David’s Law and works to link parents, teachers, schools, and “other members of society to put an end to bullying in the community.”

In both cases, the language is vague and overarching and goes a long way toward showing that the meaning behind the two anti-bully efforts has an end-goal of seeing bullying disappear forever.

Turn to the next page to read about how the Coughlin (as well as the Left) apparently believe that the church has no place in the establishment of ideas and worthwhile actions to restore traditional values into society at large!
