The Texas legislature has passed a bill approving the open carry of handguns on the streets of the Lone Star State, reversing a ban that dates back the the post-civil war era. Gun owners will still have to obtain a license to carry a handgun in a visible holster on the street.
HB 910 is headed to the desk of newly elected Gov. Greg Abbott.
