Shop with a Cop program has been in effect for a couple decades in many communities around the country. Police officers of every race take kids from underprivileged areas shopping for Christmas. Kids can pick gifts for their families, and themselves and the program pays for it all. I was able to do this with my Sergeant one year in the 90’s and it was very rewarding to see the smiles on these children’s faces when picking out the presents they wanted. This helps all races of children in low income areas who otherwise would not have had gotten much for Christmas. It is called good community policing when the Police Department can show that they are human also, and care about others, whether white, brown, black, hispanic, asian,, etc. Its about human beings, not being racist because of color, or culture, creed, or natural origin. We all need to get a grip on the hypocrisy that permeates this society, with its all about race mentality. God created all as his children, in his image…and GOD don’t like ugly…
Awesome
Good men and we are proud of you!1
