A Victoria police officer, Nathanial Robinson, 23, is under investigation for using a taser on a 76-year-old man armed only with licence plate papers.
The victim, Pete Vasquez, states “He just acted like a pit bull, and that was it,” he continues, “For a while, I thought he was going to pull his gun and shoot me.”

if your fear is too strong that you cant communicate with people, you shouldnt have a badge or a gun.
The gentleman was being passive resistant by not complying with the officers verbal commands. He was then being Actively Resistant when he pulled away from the officer when he was trying to restrain him. After falling to the ground and out of camera view, there was obviously a struggle. Another gentleman then approaches from behind and protests the officer’s completely justified actions at this point. The officer has no idea who that man is or what he may do. We also don’t know if the man became assaultive in the struggle. The officer felt he needed to use his taser to restrain the man. Looks like it worked.
I can’t believe this still happens
And no, it’s not supposed to be a fair fight. The officer needs to escalate only to the level to make the arrest. He is not to exceed it though. Just enough to have the upper hand in any given situation.
to protect and to serve is meant for the people, not the crooked azz cops
Makes me sick…….
I agree. He needs to have his peace officer’s license revoked.

Really people…he was resisting arrest..don’t start nothing. Won’t be nothing
