Reportedly coming to New York in September, a replica of the Temple of Baal Arch, that was built to stick it to ISIS for destroying the real McCoy in Palmyra, Syria, will be displayed in Time Square. The arch was unveiled in London’s Trafalgar Square, with ceremonious pomp, but with one last minute change. The public backlash from celebrating Baal, a pagan deity, who’s worship was fraught with orgies and baby sacrifice, resulted in the change of the name to the Palmyra Arch of Triumph.
The project that will be launched in both New York and London is a life-sized model arch from the 2,000 year old temple of Baal, standing 48 feet high and 23 feet wide. The temple itself was a cherished architectural gem, with great historic and cultural significance. It is reported that the Institute for Digital Archaeology plans on erecting approximatel 1,000 such arches in cities throughout the world. Truth and Action states, “…there are those would would object vehemently to the project, because what will be celebrated by these arches is a symbol of debauchery and cultural degradation that should be abhorred.

My god when does someone stand up to this bs
England is finished. God will not be mocked.
Arabic is a Semitic language, predating Islam, and is derived from the Semitic root word for God, “al”. In Hebrew, they have maintained it in אל, “El”.
Also, Christian Arabic speakers also use the word allah. Below us John 1:1 in Arabic. Notice that God is translated “Allah” (الله):
ﻳﻮﺣﻨﺎ 1:1 فِي البَدْءِ كانَ الكَلِمَةُ مَوْجُوداً، وَكانَ الكَلِمَةُ مَعَ اللهِ، وَكانَ الكَلِمَةُ هُوَ اللهَ.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Smh
….and the Brits roll over
This religious belief probably just as silly as Christianity and Islam
I just can’t imagine being upset by the religion practices of someone else, particularly people who were long dead before your religion was ever even dreamed up as the pagan religion predates all of today’s major religions.
In my opinion, the pagan faith was pretty cool, in a nutshell, the holiest thing in the pagan world was a woman’s body and ability to reproduce. Orgies were basically like an offering to God in their eyes although not that simple since they didn’t really worship a god so much as the things that people today would call gifts from God.
The rise and fall of the Roman Empire has always fascinated me, especially since there’s no single event that caused its demise but rather many events and probably the biggest was that they spread too far, too fast to be able to sustain the lands they took but Paganism is a big part of that history prior to Christianity being made the official religion of Rome, which happened as that religion’s growth had begun to outpace the growth of Paganism so in studying that I was surprised at how much literature I was able to find on Paganism itself and found it to be very interesting stuff. One thing Pagans never really did, was to force their beliefs on anyone which is probably the biggest factor as to why they were wiped out over time.
The thing about the particular site that was destroyed, is that I find it very disingenuous of us as well as the UK to fuss over its destruction since we absolutely new of the plans to destroy it before they ever came anywhere close to occupying that area, we labeled it as being imminent, chose to do nothing at all about it even though it wouldn’t have been to difficult to prevent, then just stood by and watched it happen as we knew it would so shame on us. That’s my opinion, I mean heck, I’ve never been there, never even heard of it until about 6 or 7 years ago yet I was still fully aware of it being targeted at least 3-4 years prior to its destruction. If I knew that much already, it’s absolutely absurd for our leaders to claim they didn’t know it was going to happen or that it couldn’t easily have been prevented without even really needing to use ground forces, therefore essentially no risk either.
Pagans didn’t do human sacrifice, that’s more myth than anything else.
Love it!
wow.. ignorance is no excuse to make such statements.. you should do some research.. esp if you think this pagan religion is long dead….
