“Thou shalt not murder” is different than, “Thou shalt not kill. And defending yourself and defending your nation is an obligation of any President. It is not murder.”
Ted Cruz spoke these sentiments in an interview with News Max’s, “The Hard Line” host Ed Berliner. He articulated, that as a man of faith, he understands the Biblical mandate to face evil and defend innocents. Answering Ed Berliner’s pointed question regarding faith and carpet bombing ISIS he made the correlation between killing the Nazi’s and killing ISIS.
Cruz argued that defending the innocent is an obligation and jihadist have declared war on us, therefore a stategy to protect and defeat evil is necessary.
He stated that Obama and Hillary have both failed to confront this evil as they have been unwilling to acknowledge that “the jihadists have declared war on us”.

Trump 2016.. winning with a landslide!! He is the best candidate on all levels. He will crush Hillary…people who haven’t voted in two terms or gave up on voting are now going to vote…b/c of TRUMP. He made us all sit up straight and listen…he’s bringing back hope, trust and having faith again…we see a strong leader who will finally get things done and knows right from wrong and will make the best choices for us as citizens and for our country. He has morals , high standards and loves God. People, no matter if you love him or hate him he is the only one who can undo what was horribly done to our country..he’s not a puppet, he is the voice of the people! So don’t get sucked in on any other candidate b/c they cant do squat …and you’ll have the same ole same ole and our country will move more down the drain. Vote Trump he will make a great president!!! I’m a New Yorker and I know so many Democrats and I over hear their conversation where ever I am and they’re all saying that they love what Trump is saying and theyre planning on voting for him. People These are Democrats saying these things!! So when you see Trumps national poll number at 39% I seriously think its so much higher..more like in the 50s%. He’s breaking all the rules and making History! He’s a winner and he will make American win again.

Thou Shalt Not Kill – in ISIS case yes, Americans are allowed to kill them for they want to kill Americans.
Not only is it our right, but it is our DUTY to defend ourselves. No contradiction there.
the Commandment says though shall not murder
Ecclesiastes 3:8
President Obama’s pay raise for the military is set to go into effect at the end of the week. Despite being the largest increase in five years, Republicans have refused to give credit where credit is due.
As the summer came to a close, Obama ordered an “across the board” pay increase for federal workers, with special attention being paid to those in the military. All federal civilian workers will receive an increase of one percent, while members of the military will get an increase of 1.3 percent. Over the last two years, the military increase was at one percent, while a pay freeze was in effect during 2011-2013. In addition to the raise, the recently signed National Defense Authorization Act has improved the way members of the military can access retirement benefits, as reported by the Chicago Tribune on Dec. 28.
As the Federal Times pointed out, Democrats in the House and Senate had originally proposed a 3.8 percent increase for federal workers, but the proposal died in the Republican controlled House. While pay for members of the military increases depending on length of service and rank, PayScale.com notes that the average salary for a solider is just over $40,000 a year, a number that most people agree is too low.
Republicans often label Obama, Democrats, and people on the political left as anti-American, who don’t care enough about the country’s men and women in uniform. With Republicans often so quick to attack the president, they have remained quiet when it comes to this issue, refusing to give Obama any credit for giving the military their largest raise in five years.
I like it!
