50 years ago we lived in a time where kids thought it an honor to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, pray, and mass shootings all but unheard of. Today the reality couldn’t be more different. In an era where school children are more likely to be seen throwing tantrums than listening to authority figures. Formally respected institutions and formalities are being thrown out the window in favor of new “progressive” societal values and laws.
When one hears of child abuse, most would likely think of extreme physical punishment or deep emotional neglect. But to fragile snowflakes growing up in the Boulder Valley School district in Colorado, teachers do not have the authority to make the students mind or respect their country.
Karen Smith, a physical education teacher at Angevine Middle School in Lafayette, was placed on leave earlier this month after teaching with the facility for over 20 years.
Her crime? Not allowing the little children in her class, to run the classroom.
God forbid a teacher to teach her students about order and authority…
Head on over to the next page to learn what exactly this teacher did to get expelled and arrested
She did right
I think than an oligarchy and massive disparity in wealth among its citizens will do far, far more harm than people sitting out this ritual. Giving people a country they feel part of, rather than mere profit fodder to be cast aside when convenient, might strengthen it.
Why is it wrong for a teacher to teach a student respect, In this case it is respect for country and flag. Good for the teaher
I stand behind her!
That is wrong
Why they should stand get her back she was right
Standing supports freedom and everything it contributes to.
Not standing supports rebelliousness and all negative feelings for which the flag does not represent.
nuts
The little piece of shits parents need the$#%&!@*kicked out of them.
If the children are not expected to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States Flag, they will not respect any form of government and probably do not respect their parents, elders, teachers, etc. are you just going to teach them to be slobs and troublemakers. The teacher was right. The law or Principal’s enforcement erred on this one. Shame on you.
