A jury decided last year that the owner of a small organic farm, Shellie Smith, still owes $4000 after a raid by SWAT that destroyed her farm.
Garden of Eden, a small organic in Arlington, Texas, was the target of a SWAT raid in 10-hour long search with Smith being held at gunpoint at one point.
Arlington police dept. stated that there were complaints of marijuana being grown on the premises, but none was found on the property. Instead, law enforcement confiscated 17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants, native grasses and sunflowers.

“The blueberries were armed and dangerous! ” the garden of eden has one massive lawsuit against this gestapo. I hope the lawyers are lining up. No warrant until two hours later? The kind of got the cart before the horse on this one. Constitutional rights were decimated.
Her neighbors were probably fine upstanding grocers that didn’t need the competition. So the pulled a few good old boy strings down at the court house where their buddy, the judge holes up, and he got the court to okay the raid, without warrant, to scare miss smith. After it got intense they decided they needed one of them there warrants, after knocking the door down and destroying 50000$ worth of plants and fruit/ vegetables. Finding one villainous character with an unpaid traffic ticket, roughing him up practicing their hand to hand combat techniques on the old man and leaving the placed demolished. Competition dissolved Mr.&Mrs. Grocery clerk! Now who is the real criminal here? The law enforcement agency does what the hood ol boys up in city hall want. City hall needs to be razed.
