Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

Who suspended her? There was no religious addition to the words. I don’t think this is legal, The ACLJ would be interested and would go to bat for her.
Yeah, but if she said Allah, she would have been fine, since they are the only ones who say and do whatever they want with no recourse.
Apparently the new political correctness has “redefined “, as they do everything, the phrase “Bless You'” to equate with ‘ “F” you’ ! If some one said “F-you” would they suspend them?
