Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

This is false. This happened where I live. The girl was a trouble maker and was saying bless you loudly and obnoxiously .. Repeatedly. It wasn’t what she said that got her suspended….. It was her unruly actions and disrespect to the teacher. Now I know this page needs to research before posting.
