Something bizarre is happening off the coast of Galveston, Texas. Were you to look toward the sea in the Texas port town, you’d be subject to a oceanic traffic jam of epic proportions. Ships carrying oil have gathered along the coast in the Gulf of Mexico in such great quantities that ships approaching the port have been asked to move toward the town slowly in an attempt to ease the burden.
This phenomenon is directly tied to the huge amounts of oil stored internationally and in floating container ships across the world. As oil prices fall, stockpiles of the resource are going through the roof, and governments and companies don’t have anywhere else to store it.
This could cause the price of oil to fall catastrophically further, as supply far exceeds demand for the time being.

Dumb asses !!!!why have all them tankers close by land ???or should I say the usa????it’s a fucking set up pendijos !!!!wake up people!!!!stupid asses this fucking nation is now run by fags they don’t see consequences!!!!
im from around there looks the same to me dont start rumors.
Had dinner on the ship channel last week, I didn’t see this. Not saying it is not true, just never saw it. But ships could be farther down then where I was at.
And so it begins stock tanking oil back to drive the prices up again!
When mowers, boats, tractors, personal water craft, and motorcycles start up in March, I’m sure gas will rise above $2 again…
Okay but how hard is it to take over all them and set them up to use them as a boom!!!if I was in the white house I would paint they$#%&!@*brown and wouldn’t allow c**p like that!!!
Dawn Hagen here is the explanation
if u ever deep-water fished off the galveston/beaumont part of the gulf of mexico you would see these everyday. these ships wait to port because we have the largest and most modern refineries in the world. regardless of price these ships will line up to off-load into south texas refineries. PS i lost my job to oilfield crash but love fishing the gulf.
They sure look empty to me. Probably, because since Putin has been bombing the blazes out of their cheap source of oil, and when he runs out of trucks to bomb, these tankers would be next.
Bob Esser Back when I was running 5 Gas stations for “Gasland” over night, my prices went up $1.00 per gallon for all grades. Now that was Price Gouging. I even had one tanker pull into a station pretending to make a delivery. When he started up a gas powered pump, I called the cops. He was about to steal a whole load right under our noses. It was liquid gold.
