Starbucks near downtown Philadelphia refused service of their bathroom to a Philly police officer. “It’s for paying customers” stated the employee–the restroom required a code. Starbucks obviously missed the mark.
Police Officers have been the subject of many of news cast this summer, as they have become the targets of groups like Black Lives Matter. Gunned down in the streets for sport. If the summer before an election is called “the silly season”, this summer is the “stupid season” wherein people act ignorantly and stupid, targeting the police.
What was the motivation for such a slight to a Police Officer?
Paying customers only. What part of that do you not understand? Obviously all of it
Ok so you don’t like the police officers.. fine !
It’s kinda like standing at the pledge of alligence, standing in a courtroom when a judge enters , it’s kinda like something we call showing respect for those that protect us or those in office. It’s just respect.
Store policies who have the rule you have to buy something to use the restroom , what way is that to treat people, I hate those places !
It is becoming an epidemic where young people show no respect for law enforcement and believe me when someone is robbing them or breaking into their home guess who they call. Police, so this shows that a lack of gratitude for the work and risk police officers take daily. I say a national boycott by police officers and their families should ban together and boycott any business that does this as it is disrespectful and completely out of line for stores or businesses to allow their employees to do this, I had added them to my list and will ask the NRA and GOA to do the same.
Thier entitlement is some are killed in the line of duty, protecting people like you , they carry weapons to enforce the law and protect, I’d say that puts them a little above you , it’s not being entitled it’s respect for those who protect.
Your hatred of all rules ( you yourself stated “they enforce prettier laws” so that statement there made by you tells us (because we can only go by what you state and not by reading your mind) that you do not believe that we need laws because the government is just being petty.
You misspelled “tacos”
The supreme court has already ruled that police are under no obligation to protect you. Also soldiers are killed in the line of duty everday, they are paid less and a soldier would not be entitled to use that bathroom without purchase. Next cop sucker is up, you people got nothing.
I bet the duche bag CEO agrees.
Starbucks success is sold to the demonic’s will.
This is appalling! Did I read as well a while back that they do not honor our soldiers either?
Has their sworn oath, “to serve and protect” gone the way of the hippocratic oath-revised and not necessarily in our best interests? If this be the case, and we’re the last to know they both have options, then maybe buying a small coffee wasn’t such a big deal.
