Already, one of the Soros-linked groups has made progress in slowing down the commission’s efforts to secure the needed data for a proper analysis.
The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) filed an amended complaint in their own lawsuit against the commission Monday alleging it has no authority to request voting records from the states as part of its mission. The commission halted such collection as a result.”
EPIC is a past recipient of funds from Soros’s Open Societies Foundations. EPIC Director Mark Rotenberg insists his organization has not received Soros funding since 2005, but clearly the linkage is there for all to see.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) also is suing the Advisory Commission and is a longtime recipient of Soros money. In addition, the ACLU has been a staunch supporter of progressive and globalist causes, but ignores incidents in which the civil liberties of conservatives and/or Christians are abused.
Surprisingly, there’s a conservative group that’s come to the defense of the commission and filed countersuits to help root out voter fraud and clean up voter registration rolls. It dismisses any claims from the Soros-linked groups that there’s no more Soros funding or collusion among them.
Nonetheless, attorneys with the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) — a conservative public interest law firm that has launched its own lawsuits trying to compel local election authorities to release their voter rolls and purge them of fraudulent registrants — say this doesn’t preclude collusion between the ideologically aligned groups.”
Logan Churchwell, research director for PILF, knows full well what is going on with the concealed Soros initiative.
They’re working in concert,” he said of EPIC, the ACLU, and other groups suing to keep voter rolls out of the hands of the Advisory Commission. “We know that, because we’re fighting them in concert. There’s no question about the ideology this is coming from and what they’re trying to do.”
President Trump established the commission through executive order in May to investigate and advise on voter fraud and vulnerabilities in our voting system nationwide.
Among its members are: Vice President Mike Pence, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, former DOJ Civil Rights Division lawyer and PILF head J. Christian Adams, and former Cincinnati Mayor Ken Blackwell.
Pence chairs the Commission and will report its findings to the president.
On June 28, a letter was sent to each of the 50 states requesting the following: registered voters’ names, addresses, dates of birth, partial social security numbers, political party affiliation, and a decade’s worth of voter history, information on felony convictions, and whether they have registered in more than one state. The request specified to turn over only publicly available information.
The Department of Justice has sent a follow-up letter asking each state to reveal how they maintain voter rolls and keep them purged of fraudulent registrations.
No doubt Democrats who control major cities want no part of this investigation. Remember, Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein requested a recount in Michigan following the November election. The recount found a precinct in Detroit where a ballot box was marked to have 306 votes, which were reported on Election Day. When the box was opened, only 50 ballots were found inside.
If the Advisory Commission gets the cooperation it needs, and liberal judges don’t thwart its efforts thanks to the Soros subterfuge, Lord knows what criminality will be uncovered.
